Institutions of One × Fashion
Live · 44 dossiers across four rooms
Fashion is where singular authority is most visible and least examined: the house carries one name, and the question of what actually makes that authority transferable, ownable and survivable is answered with biography instead of structure.

LiveLive · 44 dossiers across four rooms
The problem. Fashion is where singular authority is most visible and least examined: the house carries one name, and the question of what actually makes that authority transferable, ownable and survivable is answered with biography instead of structure.
What it does. Asks what allows one person's authority to become legible, transferable, owned and durable, across four rooms — Build, Carry, Control, Continue — holding 44 evidence-mapped dossiers. Each room takes one question: what makes the work recognisably yours, how it travels beyond your body, who owns the name and the leverage, and what survives absence, sale, succession or death.
Built on. The Institutions of One research programme, applied to a field that makes its subject unusually observable. Not biography and not brand study — the subject is institutional engineering.
What it does not establish. An exhibition, not a survey. The dossiers are selected because they make a structural question legible, not because they are representative of the industry.
This record is generated from the same inventory as the complete build index: the production URL was checked at the last regeneration, and the status line above repeats what the build reports about itself rather than restating an intention.
