Getting Your Keiki Into Competitive Robotics
Live · built with Oʻahu A.I. for Hawaiʻi Tech Week 2026
Competitive robotics has real on-ramps in Hawaiʻi, and no plain guide to them. The practical consequence is that the families who find their way in are disproportionately the ones who already knew someone inside, which turns a programme meant to widen access into one that quietly narrows it. The missing artefact is small: a page answering the questions a parent actually has, in the order they have them.

The problem.
What it does. Explains what competitive robotics actually means before asking a family to commit to it, then covers how to start, roughly what it costs, where to look on Oʻahu, and — the section most guides skip — what families commonly get wrong on the way in. It closes with local examples rather than mainland ones.
Built on. A static single-page site with an installable web manifest, served from Vercel.
This record is generated from the same inventory as the complete build index: the production URL was checked at the last regeneration, and the status line above repeats what the build reports about itself rather than restating an intention.
