Hawaii Tech Week 2026 Field Kit
Live portfolio page · event coverage and content-system sample
Show one week of event photography and video at the standard it takes to publish it: sharp, de-duplicated, captioned from what is actually in the frame, and connected to the system that checks it.

What I noticed
The week produced 1,273 phone stills, 139 phone videos, and 108 camera videos. Nothing about that volume says which frames are good, which clips are steady, which quotes were actually said, or who agreed to be shown.
What I researched
Every still was logged with a description, people, on-screen text, and quality notes. Video was sampled for darkness, soft or covered lens, and shake, and speech clips were transcribed so captions say what was said rather than what a log guessed. Quotes in drafted posts were checked against transcripts and each person on camera was recorded with the evidence for their status.
What exists
A single page with a photo wall and video wall for each of the five days, each day paired with a real post rendered both in a plain template and in a concept look drawn from its venue and a Pinterest Predicts 2026 trend, plus a plain-language account of the logging, checking, consent, and rendering steps behind it.
Who it serves
Event organizers, venues, brands, and publishers deciding what a documented week should produce and how it should be checked.
What it demonstrates
Photography and video selection, caption writing, event documentation, content-system design, and rendering one source into several brand looks.
Current evidence
The live page was checked in a browser: all 180 photos and 30 clips load and play, ten clips carry decoded audio, there are no console errors, and the layout does not scroll sideways at phone width. People pictured attended a public event whose posted notice said it would be photographed and recorded; that does not establish that each person individually agreed to appear in a portfolio, which is why the page is excluded from search engines. It is not an official Hawaii Tech Week, venue, or sponsor page, and the looks are concept looks. The review system it describes is private, so its counts are not independently verifiable from the page.

LiveLive · event coverage and content-system sample
The problem. A week of an event produces far more frames and footage than anyone can post, and most of it is never chosen, checked, or connected to what it shows. The usual outcome is a few lucky highlights or a folder nobody can search.
What it does. Shows the best of one week (Aug 31 to Sept 4, 2026) on a single page: 180 photos from an iPhone and a Nikon and 30 Nikon video clips, ten of them with sound, sorted by day and venue, filterable by space or people, with a lightbox. Each day also shows one real post twice, in a plain template and in a concept look drawn from that venue, and the page explains the content system behind it: every frame logged, quotes checked against transcripts, and each person on camera recorded with what they agreed to.
Built on. One static HTML page with its photos and video. No build step, no tracking, no account. Hosted on Vercel.
What it does not establish. Event documentation and a work sample, not an official Hawaii Tech Week, venue, or sponsor page, and the looks are concept looks rather than any venue's branding. The review system it describes is private, so the page's own counts (1,273 stills and 247 videos logged, 208 drafted posts) cannot be verified from the page. It is set to be skipped by search engines because it shows attendees.
This record is generated from the same inventory as the complete build index: the production URL was checked at the last regeneration, and the status line above repeats what the build reports about itself rather than restating an intention.
